This book had all the pirate adventure, treasure hunting, sirens, and Alosa’s all-female crew that the first book missed. Whatever the first book lacked, the second made up for it in a marvelous way. This book was an action-packed, fast-paced adventure with characters so amazingly written that you can’t help but fall in love with them. After all, who better to find a siren treasure than the daughter of the siren queen. Despite all the dangers, she is determined to recover the treasure first. But when her villainous prisoner Vordan exposes the secret his father has kept for years, she and her crew soon find themselves in a deadly race with the feared pirate king. Despite the constant distractions from the first mate Riden, Alosa takes great pride in knowing that he is finally under her orders. After retrieving all the three pieces of the legendary treasure map and taking her captors as prisoners Alosa’s life couldn’t have been better.
